Homeopathy is used all over the world and it has been used since the early 1800’s when the German physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann developed it.

The British Royal Family has in fact been using homeopathy for years, the Queen is reported to carry a kit of 92 remedies whenever she travels and in the Royal Family have a homeopathic physician that they see regularly.
Homeopathy has come up in literature and in the media. Often, it is just the word – homeopathy or homeopathic – and not really saying much about homeopathy as its own form of medicine. And other times, homeopathy is specifically mentioned in having helped and healed someone.
The National Center for Homeopathy wrote a post about the 1994 movie of LITTLE WOMEN. The post mentioned a scene in which Jo was looking through a Materia Medica, a reference book that has the descriptions of many homeopathic remedies. She was looking to find the homeopathic remedy that best fit the fever that one of her sisters’ was experiencing. The homeopathic remedy Belladonna was chosen.
Recently I was watching an episode of the BBC program CALL THE MIDWIVES, during a scene, one of the characters mentioned the homeopathic remedy Arnica Montana. She was suggesting the use of Arnica Montana for a person who may have experienced a fall, a bruising, or a trauma.
