Jane Lindsay

Jane’s personal interest in Homeopathy started after the birth of her first child who early on received homeopathic treatment for a severe skin complaint for which other medicine had not been able to help with. Since training with both Stella Berg in the UK & at the Welsh School of Homeopathy with Linda Gwillim & Bill Rumble, Jane visited Calcutta for 6 weeks in 2006, studying & working in the slum clinics with Subrata Banerjea, attended several Allen College Summer Schools (Dr Banerjea’s school in UK), Alize Timmerman seminars in UK & The Hague, Sankaran “Sensation & Beyond” in Goa 2008, as well as regular attendance at SOH seminars & AGM’s, & Welsh School CPD events and since arrival in Brisbane in January 2009 has established a strong local homeopathic network.

Jane is a member here in Australia of both AROH Australian Register of Homeopaths & also Australian Homeopathic Association. See below for links & further information

In the UK Jane was responsible for setting up a local branch of FOCC (Friends of Chernobyl’s children) – Bringing groups of children, post Chernobyl out of Belarus to the UK for a 5 year health improvement programme from aged 7 to 12 years of age. This involved establishing & co-coordinating a team of local Homeopaths to give homeopathic treatment, alongside dental, opticians, lesson plans, language training & other activities. www.focc.org.uk

This gave Jane valuable & early insight into the significant improvement in health & well-being which homeopathy may bring, even or especially in difficult social, environmental and cultural situations. It also fuelled her passion for Homeopathy and making it more widely available to all who seek treatment.

Jane also set-up a pilot project together with Charlotte Haynes & was awarded a grant from HAT to assess the impact of Vaccination on childhood illnesses & offering treatment to address developmental issues, skin complaints, allergies & other common childhood illnesses.

Jane also works with both the Australian Bush Flower Essences and a unique range of Orchid Essences made by IFER (International Flower Essence Repertory) in the UK. These essences are now available from www.HealingOrchids.com.au These are often complimentary to the Homeopathic process and may be prescribed as drops or as Aura Sprays.

Jane produces a quarterly newsletter offering advice on treating seasonal acute illnesses, sharing patient experiences of Homeopathy and offering occasional first aid courses. These may be focused on first aid for the home or for mothers to give confidence in treating minor infant & post natal ailments with Homeopathy. Courses and advice for international travel and looking after one’s health whilst travelling are also available on request.
